Rounding of transaction fees

You may have questions around the transaction charges not being exactly 2% or 35cents of the order amounts.

The reason being is the amounts may have been rounded as there is multiple products to divide those amounts up into. This applies across sellers in the same transaction. As a maker you will only see your order for the customer.

Example:

Transaction charge $0.35c

On one item order transaction fee is $0.35
On 2 items ordered - $0.35 divided by 2 = $0.175 - rounded to $0.18 each so totals are $0.36

6 items ordered across 2 sellers - 3 from each seller - $0.35 is divided by 6 items - rounded to $0.06 per item - so each seller will be charged $0.18

Transaction charge 2%

On order total of $43.20 = $0.864 - rounded to $0.87
