Add tags to your products

Product tags are used in a few different ways to identify your products;

• Tags can be picked up when a customer is searching
• Tags improve SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
• Madeit uses tags to identify products to be within specific products

The Madeit team is constantly improving collections on the website and developing collections which may be specific to emails that go out. Here is an example of an email that was sent out to all Madeit Artists in the weekly info email (Wednesday 5pm AEST).

So, how do you tag your products?

1. From your product listing section select Edit and the edit product screen is available.

2. Go to the Product Tags section and type in what you would like to tag your products followed by a comma (,) and the tag will turn green. Save.

Using the example above you can write winter, all lower case or as specified by the Madeit team.

3. If this tag means that you will then show up in a collection on the front end of the website you can go to that collection and filter by your artist store name to make sure it's working.
