Guide to Adding Custom Options in Product Listings
1. Access Custom Options Panel 0:00
- Navigate to the custom options panel in your product listing.
- This can be done for existing products or when adding a new product.
2. Add a Custom Option 0:15
Click on 'Add an option'.
Choose from various option types available:
- Text: For short answers (e.g., name).
- Long Text: For longer responses (e.g., personalized messages).
- Toggle: For yes/no options.
- Date: For date inputs (e.g., delivery date).
- Single Choice: For multiple options where only one can be selected.
- Multiple Choice: For multiple options where more than one can be selected.
3. Configure Each Option Type 1:31
- For each option type:
- Text: Name the field and set it as required if necessary.
- Long Text: Similar setup as text but allows for more input.
- Toggle: Specify if it has an additional price (e.g., gift wrapping).
- Date: Set if itβs required and specify the context.
- Single Choice: Add values for the dropdown options and set pricing if applicable.
- Multiple Choice: Add values for multiple selections.
4. Save Your Options 4:35
- Ensure all custom options are saved.
- Approve the product listing to view it on the marketplace.
5. Review Custom Options on Marketplace 4:46
- Check how each custom option appears:
- Text Field: Short input box.
- Single Choice: Dropdown menu for selection.
- Toggle: Checkbox for options like gift wrapping.
- Date Field: Input for date requirements.
- Multiple Choice: Checkboxes for selecting multiple options.
- Long Text: Larger input area for messages.
6. Edit or Delete Options 6:24
- To edit an option, hover over it and click to change the label or requirement status.
- To delete an option, click the bin icon next to it.
- Always remember to save changes after editing.
