Is my shipping set up correctly
In order to be able to allocate shipping to your products and for those products to be able to land into our customers shopping carts you need to be confident your shipping is set up correctly.
Let's check that you have your standard shipping configuration set up 🌟
Under Settings select Shipping
Does your screen look like this? Mine doesn't - what now?
If it does 🌟 you should have shipping all set up but let's check the steps below to make sure you're happy with the ranges and rates you've got set up. The default will apply to whichever products you specify when enabling this function.
You have Standard shipping as your Default and it is Enabled. Select the 3 dots under Action and then View Shipping
The next screen will show the Country and number of states - if set up correctly will show Australia and 8 states. Select the 3 dots and View to open up the shipping details section.
This example shows 3 different ranges & rates set up and each state is enabled. The Shipping and delivery days isn't required in this section but you can enter for future development.
This example shows 1 range and rate and each state is enabled. The shipping and delivery days have been entered based on estimates.
Final step: Check online!
The best way to check if your shipping is set up properly is to jump onto the website and navigate to your products and test out the following;
- Shipping Estimator on the product page
- Shipping Estimator on the cart page
If it says 'No shipping available' It means that your shipping is not set up correctly.
Mine looks like this!
