How to Fulfill an Order
Order Fulfillment Procedure
Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to fulfill an order in the Made-It dashboard, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders.
Key Steps
1. Log into Made-It Dashboard 0:02
- Receive an email notification for a new order.
- Log into your Made-It seller account.
- Locate the unfulfilled orders panel on your dashboard.
2. Access Orders Section 0:23
- Click on the active link showing unfulfilled orders to view details.
- Alternatively, select 'Orders' from the menu to see all received orders.
3. Select Unfulfilled Order 0:48
- Identify the unfulfilled order (it will not be greyed out).
- Click on the order to access the fulfillment panel.
4. Review Customer Information 1:03
- Check the customer's shipping and billing addresses.
- Note the customer's mobile number for parcel labeling.
5. Fulfill the Order 1:19
- Click on the 'Fulfill Item' button.
- Enter the tracking number for the shipment.
6. Specify Shipping Carrier 1:36
- Select 'Australia Post' as the shipping carrier.
- If applicable, choose 'Customer Pick Up' and set carrier as 'Other'.
7. Handle Multiple Items 2:05
- If fulfilling multiple items, specify the quantity.
- For partial fulfillment, indicate the number of items being fulfilled.
8. Complete Fulfillment 2:35
- Click 'Fulfill Item' to finalize the process.
- The customer will receive an email notification with tracking information.
9. Invoice and Packing Slip 3:06
- Print an invoice only after the item has been fulfilled.
- Print a packing slip at any time.
10. Communicate with Customer 3:19
- If the customer requests an invoice, use the messaging system to send it.
- Obtain the customer's email address if necessary.
11. Payment Schedule 3:54
- Note that order payouts occur on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Notes
- Ensure the item is posted before fulfilling it to provide accurate tracking information.
- Regularly check your dashboard for unfulfilled orders to avoid delays.
