Adding Variants to a Product

Objective

This SOP outlines the steps to add, edit, and manage product variants effectively.

Key Steps

1. Create a New Product 0:00

• Start by creating a new product with a clear title and full description.
• Ensure you have media (images) ready for upload.

2. Upload Media Images 0:11

• Click on the media section to upload images.
• Select multiple images by holding the Shift key while clicking on them.
• You can upload up to ten images.

3. Set Product Pricing 1:04

• Enter the base price for the product (e.g., $15).

4. Add Variants 1:15

• Navigate to the variant section and click 'Add Option'.
• Choose a variant type (e.g., color, size).
• Enter the values for the variants (e.g., red, green, blue).

5. Rearrange Variants 1:56

• Click and drag to rearrange the order of the variants.
• Hit 'Continue' to save the new order.

6. Edit Each Variant 2:08

• Hover over each variant to highlight it.
• Click on the variant you want to edit (e.g., green).
• Attach an image, set the price, and enter the quantity for each variant.

7. Attach Images to Variants 2:42

• Use the toggle box to attach images from the media section to each variant.

• After editing each variant, click the 'X' to save and close the editing window.

9. Delete Variants 4:31

• To delete a variant, click on the shaded box of the variant.
• Click the rubbish bin icon to remove the selected variant.
